No one expects to be mobbed. No one expects to be mobbed when driving. This doesn’t happen in American. Having your car surrounded by a dangerous group of people stopping your movement with the intent to harm you is unimaginable; it just doesn’t happen here. These random acts of violence happen some place else. Not America. Not Maine. And not your town either.
This is what I always thought, but not true. The America we have all known is shifting and random mob violence is becoming more and more commonplace. It is happening everywhere and happening in our streets. It happened to me when I was driving the streets of Bangor, Maine with my three young kids; we were suddenly surrounded by an angry Black Lives Matter mob refusing to allow us to proceed. They were threatening and screaming angry obscenities at myself and my young children. The Police were on the scene and elected not to respond fearing a response would incite the mob further. How do you defend yourself in a scene like this? F3Defense.
